Like all big businesses… they’re not going to tell you their road map. I’d like to see a classic version of every WoW expansion on its own server like they have done with Classic era and soon TBC. I could play any expansion of WoW I wanted without it having been changed over the years to accommodate later expansion changes. It’s like truly pulling an old game CD off the shelf and loading it up for nostalgia sake. If that is why they brought on the Everquest leader to run the team, then that strategy I believe will pay out in spades for them for years to come. That sort of setup is far more appealing than retail WoW today is anyway.
No rushing to get this or that done before patch whatever. No time gating because everything is in place already. The way the game was meant to be played… find a home in whatever expansion you choose and stay there for as long as you like knowing it is never going to change on you for all perpetuity. Imagine the number of people who are hitting retirement age that are going to be looking for ways to spend their time. There are going to be far more people in retirement than actually working real soon. The WoW zealots among them would gladly waltz through WoW from start to finish over the course of a decade. It’s the only hope for the Mac platform I am afraid.Example screenshot of some awesome War2USA fun times! RAAIt’s a different kind of market yes, but one that honestly costs them less to run. Just make sure the game is not running before attempting to change anything, or it won’t work. USA Gateway only (you already have a client) Once the game is installed there will be 2 icons on your desktop where you can run either the game or the map editor.
Not needed if you install the full version above, but if you already have a client installed and just want the USA server to appear in your gateway list so you can play, first make sure Warcraft II is not running, then download this file and double click on it. Click OK on the prompt asking if you want to add it to the system registry. This will add the USA server so when you next start Warcraft II you will find War2USA in the gateway list.Īnti-Hack system is active and is done on the server side. You can now enable plugins that are disabled by default. These plugins range from: Pictures of maps in game lobby, cpu savior(prevent 100% cpu usage), game timer, and many more. To keep a pure vanilla feeling of WarCraft II BNE these are disabled by default.
